This video was taken at the top* of Peak 6 at Breckenridge, 12,302 feet above sea level. The next day the wind was very high - bringing in snow squalls without much notice. We skied one run with blue skies above, and then next run was whiteout conditions. No wonder that it was so hard to find any two weather reports that agreed with each other about the day’s forecast.
* Peak 6 is actually 12,573 feet tall, but you have to hike to the top-top. This is at the top of the lift, 271 feet below the highest point. I’m not sure i’m ready for skiing that you have to hike to, so this is close enough for me.
