I am learning how to repair zippers, so at the Repair Cafe, I sit next to a smart lady who is tired of fixing zippers. She is happy to answer my questions as long as I take first crack at the zipper repairs. The jeans took 3 people to get that replacement slider onto the the zipper coil, so I can’t take full credit for that one, but I did fix the cycling jacket zipper by myself (the slider had came off).

My favorite repair was a guy who asked if his water bottle holder could be attached to his backpack (a classic Jansport). After all my MYOG research, I was delighted to take that job.
There are other repairs that I didn’t photograph - pants, shirts, the usual things. We were busy all day.
Oh my! You have a Repair Cafe? I think I would procrastinate less on my mending projects if I had a community mending site to bring them to. I love your happy mess of supplies! Thanks for sharing.
